Where: Burlington Holiday Inn and Conference Centre, Burlington, Ontario

Who Should Attend?

The intended audience for this 1 day event includes public and private sector with participants from the federal, provincial, regional and municipal levels, private industry, consulting, IT leaders, GIS professionals and practitioners, end data users, managers, senior staff, CAOs, and Indigenous Peoples. Other key stakeholders include community activists and visionaries from the private and not-for-profit sectors.

Program Agenda

The BeSpatial annual event is for the geospatial and information community. The BeInspired event offers program sessions, keynote speakers, networking opportunities, and industry updates in an expo showcase. The event attracts attendees from a diverse cross-section of public and private disciplines: Geospatial (GIS) professionals and Information service (IT/IS) managers, engineers, surveyors, consultants, analysts, technicians, technologists, specialists, senior managers, end data users, professors and students from Ontario and beyond!

Data Architecture and Coding Competition

We are excited to announce the launch of the Annual Data Architecture and Coding Competition - a joint initiative by BeSpatial Ontario and Canopy Mapping Co. 

We are seeking groundbreaking solutions - models, scripts, schemes, and applications. Share your problem-solving journey and contribute to our industry's growth.

The winner will be announced at BeSpatial'25 and will take home a $500 cash prize and a prestigious trophy.

BeSpatial Student Bursary

The Nathan Adams Student Bursary is an annual award that recognizes the contributions of students studying at Ontario post-secondary institutions to the geospatial and information community. This is a great opportunity for students to promote themselves and get recognition for their hard work by participating in industry events.
