| Who we areBeSpatial is a volunteer-led community of passionate geospatial professionals in Ontario. Rooted in the URISA community since 1987, we evolved from URISA Ontario to become BeSpatial in the early 2000s. Today, we remain driven by a shared mission to empower our industry through collaborative innovation. Our strategic direction is guided by our Board Management Team and Directors, while our various Board Committees work across the province to share expertise, promote standards, and recognize excellence. We review our goals annually to ensure we stay as dynamic as the industry we serve. |
Our Young Professionals NetworkThe Young Professionals Network is a dedicated space for those in their first seven years in the geospatial industry. We believe the future of our field depends on supporting the next generation of leaders, and the YPN is where that happens. Managed by its own committee, the YPN offers a mix of webinars, mentorship opportunities, and a featured session at our Annual General Meeting. It’s a place to share technical skills, navigate early-career challenges, and build a network of peers that will last a lifetime. |
