Hamilton's Enterprise GIS Roadmap: How to Measure Progress and Report Successes

The City of Hamilton is focused on enabling staff and citizens with accurate, current and reliable data. How does an organization share the tools to analyze, visualize and report their decisions, keeping everyone informed, and maintaining trust in the underlying data? Through collaborative planning and measuring Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). The webinar will demonstrate how Hamilton has measured their current state of GIS and data maturity, identified their organization's main challenges, planned their approach to solve those challenges, and will present their progress through a data-driven enterprise roadmap.

And, as Hamilton's geospatial program progresses, so does the underlying maturity model and methods that continue to adapt to the rapid evolution of GIS within organizations. This evolution will be discussed in the context of new variants of the maturity model whose measures and strategic insights will continue to be used to transform the City of Hamilton and others with data, integrations, business and location intelligence.

Presenters:  Matt Pietryszyn, GISP,  Supervisor, Spatial Solutions and Data Services, City of Hamilton and Paul Giroux, President, Mass Maturity/Slimgim
