Biography

Gary Stronghill is a digital-infrastructure and municipal systems leader with 25+ years of experience in GIS, asset management, and enterprise modernization. As the former Manager of Geospatial Infrastructure Systems at the City of London, he led major initiatives including a multi-year Cityworks CMMS program, the Deployment Framework Strategy, and the integration of GIS, AM, and operational data to support a $28B municipal asset portfolio.

Gary’s work focuses on building the “asset intelligence layer” that modern municipalities need — unifying geospatial systems, lifecycle asset data, digital governance, and operational workflows into a coherent decision-making ecosystem.

His interests include digital twins, data governance, asset registry design, municipal operating models, and the emerging role of AI in infrastructure.
